The GXRLQR cartridge is designed to fit into an existing GXRLQR fixed-head. This is a permanent fixture that is mounted on the wall behind your refrigerator into which a cartridge clicks. With the GXRLQR there is no need to shut off your water supply to change the cartridge.
We have had reports about some other manufacturer's fridges (particularly Hotpoint, Kuppersbusch, Neff and Bosch models) having this system installed. As many of these fridges are not supplied with a water filter system, many third-party resellers choose the GXRLQR as a way of securing a recurring income from each sale. We have bought in these original cartridges at an affordable price, offering customers a lower cost option to what they may have had previously.
The GE range of cartridges are designed to be replaced either at six monthly intervals or when the 'replace cartridge' light comes on (if fitted).
