European law prohibits companies from forcing you to use their spares and 'must-fit' exception means its perfectly valid for another company to copy just the elements required of a cartridge in order to make it fit (usually the top connector). Companies who manufacture compatible cartridges, of which we are one, do not have the same concerns about potential losses or lack of margin on the original piece of equipment, so naturally prices can be offered for considerably less. In addition, we have fifteen staff whereas multi-national organisations may have hundreds of thousands, which naturally means costs will be considerably higher - Factor things like marketing into it and you can see where cost savings can be made.

If no compatible is available for your fridge we will generally be able to offer you the best price available in the UK on the original. Why? Well some cartridges are very difficult to copy due to the intricate nature of their design, whilst some manufacturers have come to realise that they are better supporting resellers who specialise in this market rather than working against them.
