We have been the cheapest suppliers of
fridge filters in the UK now for approximately five years, setting the
prices that others set to beat AND being the only company producing their
own cartridge specifically manufactured for the refrigerator
market. In recent months, certainly most of 2006,
some people have seen the fridge filter market as a bit of a bandwagon -
and have tried to jump on it purely to capitalize on groundwork that us
(and a handful of other companies that have been around a while) have
tried to achieve.
Whilst we don't discourage
competition we do have a problem with spurious
claims made by some companies, trying to dress up cartridge
prices behind special offers or making un-substantiated claims as to the
origin of competitors products. We provide the ONLY
branded refrigerator filter in the UK outside of the original
Manufacturers part, which is produced to our specification - some other
companies are simply selling you generic products which they cannot even
bother to put a label on, or box up properly, or even produce fitting
instructions for!
Remember - no matter how you
word it we ALL have to pay for delivery, we all have to pay for the
products and we all have to pay for processing orders. For
comparison we've shown our price (13th October 06) against the next
cheapest online competitor, including all delivery costs and/or
special offers they may provide (as of 13th October 2006)
